Because banding requires diligent oversight and care as well as standardized trypsin treatment, we provide for class use stained slides of chromosomes. Instructors can also purchase baked slides of cells which require trypsin-treatment and Giemsa staining. We recommend unstained/untreated chromosome slides be purchased only for small groups of careful students.
